Geniesst die Tage und wählt aus den vielfältigen Möglichkeiten um und auf dem See aus - hier ein paar Insider-Tipps:

Enjoy your holidays by visiting some of the multiple tourist attractions around, over and on the Lake of Constance:

 

- ein Besuch in der Güttinger Badi, die am anderen Ende der Seestrasse liegt (ca. 300m), für Familien mit Kindern sicherlich mehr als lohnenswert

- to the local swim area, which is located on the other end of the Seestrasse (appr. 300m), i.e. for families with kids surely an attractive visit

 

- ein Spaziergang am überschatteten See entlang, entweder nach Altnau oder bis Uttwil (total ca. 8km), wohl die schönste zusammenhängende Naturtour am Bodensee

- a walk along the seaside, or towards Altnau or til Uttwil (totally appr. 8km), maybe the most beautiful walk in nature on the whole cost of the sea

 

- eine Bootstour (auf unserem Hausboot, falls einer von Euch das Bodenseeschifferpatent hat); selbst Wasser-Ski ist möglich

- a boat trip (on our house boat if one of you has a locally valid boat driver licence), even water skiing is possible

 

- ein Spaziergang zum Sunnehüsli (300m) lohnt allemal, denn Paul und Mäggi haben gern Gäste

- a walk to the Sunnehüsli is worthwile as Mäggi and Paul like to have guests

 

- einen Ausflug zum Säntis-Massiv (ca. 60 km, lohnt insbesondere bei schöner Sicht)

- a trip to the Säntis (appr. 60km; the highest mountain just in front of the Alpes - with a great panorama under good weather)

 

- ein Besuch auf der Blumen-Insel Mainau (ca. 20 km; der Kinderspielplatz gilt unter Eltern als Geheimtipp!), ideal ab 18 Uhr mit Reservierung in der Schwedenschenke

- a visit of the flower island Mainau (appr. 20 km; the children´s playground is an insider tipp!)

 

- eine Bootsfahrt zum Zeppelin-Museum nach Friedrichshafen (ca.20 km; vor 100 Jahren DAS Zentrum der Luftfahrt)

- a boat trip to the museum of Zeppelin in Friedrichshafen (appr. 20 km; one 100 years ago THE world´s centre of aviation)

 

- einen Ausflug in die weltberühmte Stiftsbibliothek in St. Gallen, einer hübschen Stadt in der Ostschweiz

- a trip to the famous Stiftsbibliothek/ Abbey Library of St. Gallen, a nice city in eastern Switzerland

 

- ein Skitag im österreichischen Damüls-Mellau (ca. 80 km; kinder-freundlich und erschwinglich)

- a day in the Austrian ski-region of Damüls (appr. 100 km; child-friendly and affordable)

 

- ein Ausflug in die Flumser Berge, ein grosses Skigebiet auf Schweizer Seite (ca. 100 km)

- the mountains of Flums, a huge ski-region on the Swiss side of the river Rhine (appr. 100 km)
